Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

On a hot summer night In China, when Xianqin (Lisa) was having dinner with family and friends.  During dinner, she was asked to “have a conversation" with friends'' children because the parents couldn't "connect" with their children, who were studying aboard. After speaking with the children, Lisa found out that they felt overwhelmed by the challenges they had encountered, and they also felt that they had been thrown in the water to “sink or swim” on their own in a foreign country.  They needed help but didn't know how to get help and where to look for. Lisa couldn’t sleep that night as she reflected the challenges and obstacles she had to overcome when she first came to the US for graduate school. It daunted on her that how much these young people need help! They need someone who understands what they are going through, and who can coach and mentor them how to navigate the complexities of studying and living in a different culture, and how to stay mentally strong so they can overcome the challenges come their way! Hence the birth of Wallace 360° – unconventional mentoring and coaching to transform lives!
